If you're looking for a super solid classic car that's budget friendly, mechanically sound, and gets thumbs up wherever you go this is your car! This 1950 Plymouth Special Deluxe is ready to drive anywhere, having almost brand new tires, fresh carburetor rebuild and new cast iron manifolds/headers from Langdon's Stovebolt (manifolds and carb rebuild just completed a few weeks ago). I originally purchased this car with the idea of doing a basic repaint but the paint is decent enough I thought I'd offer it for sale in it's current condition before painting it and in turn having to raise the price. The option to have the car freshly painted is still an option if you'd prefer should you win the car. We've gone over this car from tip to tail and the underneath is solid and rust free and the body is very straight with some bubbling where the previous paint job was laid over the welting, creating a void to crack and peel. Also at the trunk opening there is some surface rust from paint being chipped loading and unloading the trunk but no rot, would clean up as part of a repaint. The Cowl Vent has some scale around the outer edge of the vent as well as around the the gasket (which also got partially painted over) but as with the trunk lip would clean up as part of a repaint, no rot. There is a door ding in the passenger door about 1.5 diameter that's visible otherwise any other body imperfections and wear look consistent with the age of the previous restoration.
