Offered up from our collection for your consideration is this 1948 PLYMOUTH SPECIAL DELUXE CUSTOM RESTO-MOD SHOW CAR. My father and I are both retired avid car collectors. We take a lot of pride and time in taking detailed pictures of everything on the vehicle as well as an honest description of both the good and bad on the vehicle. Our goal is to sell a car and both parties are happy with what they are getting.
This vehicle was a ground up custom build from the frame up less than 2 years ago.
Vehicle was converted over from 6 volt to 12 volts.
The engine is a 350 cubic inch Chevrolet small block with a mild camshaft upgrade. Has a holley carb, edelbrock intake manifold, headers, chrome engine dress up pieces, including chrome alternator and valve covers, etc…
Has an upgraded Saden a/c system that blows ice cold.
Vehicle has power Rack N Pinion steering, power brakes, front disc with rear drum setup.
Dual electric fan pusher/puller setup with oversized radiator.
Always runs cool in Texas heat with the a/c on high.
Vehicle is 5 lug axle converted 8.8 rear-end with new silver mustang bullit wheels and tires with lowering springs.
Vehicle has an automatic turbo 350 transmission.
Has dual rear exit exhaust with chrome tips.

Body modifications include
Fully shaved filled and painted engine bay (no holes)
Hood emblem is shaved
Frontend has flush mount LED turn signals integrated into the front fenders.
Custom chrome grille and front end modifications
Rear trunk handle is shaved with keyhole also filled and is now power operated from inside the car.
Frenched in custom taillights
Custom Frenched in gas fuel door
Body has no dents and is laser straight.
The paintjob on the car is flawless with a deep glossy reflective shine. (Hand sanded and buffed with no orange peel full show quality)
Vehicle was painted with all moldings, glass and interior removed (no tape lines whatsoever)
All new weather stripping around all doors and glass
All chrome trim on the vehicle is perfect no dents rust or pitting and have a deep reflection.
Custom gold hand painted pin-striping
All doors, trunk and hood all close tightly with no sagging or rattles etc….

Interior description
Fully updated interior with no rips or tears.
The tan carpet is new and in great shape.
Tan power split bucket front seats in excellent condition with center console.
Power windows (operated by the window crank with an integrated toggle switch)
Aftermarket radio mounted centered under the dash.
Custom billet shifter with billet gas and brake pedals.
All dash chrome trim and bezels are new with no dents or pitting
Dash paint is all new and in great shape with custom scrolling
All new gauges
Billet red leather wrapped steering wheel.
Stainless door sill plates
Tilt steering wheel
All glass is clear with no scratches or imperfections

Bottom line this vehicle is a multi show winner as you can see in the provided pictures of trophies and plaques. Although it is a show winner it is more than capable of regular Sunday drive.

We are not aware of anything at this time the vehicle needs other than a new home and someone to appreciate the large amount of time and money spent building this vehicle.
