1951 Plymouth Concord Business Coupe – 2 Door (No Reserve)
(not sure if it's a Deluxe or not)
This car is completely original except for the car has been repainted. It only has 53, 873 miles.
Good condition, runs great, home restoration, manual transmission, leather seats.
Chrome is in good condition, all parts replaced with original parts and many original spare parts are included (see pictures). Includes original rims. Interior has been restored. Firewall, doorjambs and truck compartment still retain the original paint. Undercarriage and trunk floor are rust free. The engine compartment is original and un-detailed. Runs and drives excellent and is wonderful to drive.
Also includes a Mopar sign and original A & W Drive In Tray and Getting To Know Your Concord Booklet.
Business coupes are becoming increasingly rare and collectible and to find one in original condition like this is nearly impossible. The business coupe features cargo space behind the front bench seat.
Lee Petty drove a 1951 Plymouth and this car was more superior than the V8 Fords, etc. Lee Petty won 1 race, had 11 top 5 finishes and 19 top 10 finishes out of 41 races. Mopar was 2nd best only to the Oldsmobile. There were very few of these cars made because of the Korean War.
