There are only 151 Woodward Edition Prowlers produced, each one is numbered and signed by artist Dr. Ru. This is #34. It's beyond a head turner, it's a stop, stare and point type of vehicle.
I purchased it in May 2013 and brought it directly to local Chrysler dealership (who took over Plymouth), to have an all points inspection, and 30K mile maintenance and tune-up. I rarely drive it as the 1500 miles I've added in 3 years will attest. It's in very good condition, rides great, but it mostly sits under a dust cover in the garage, and is treated more like a collectible than a vehicle. Original paint still glistens! She deserves to be shown off more, and I need the garage space or I would keep her for the occasional tooling around town.
Would make a fine addition to any collection, and if you want an attention grabber, this would do the trick! If you like to keep a low profile, the prowler is not the car for you. Not only is it rare (only 11, 000 ever made from 1998 - 2002), it looks like no other car on the road. The Woodward edition, is the hottest looking of them all. The Black Tie (Silver / Black) and The Woodward (Red / Black) are the only two-tone prowler models produced. If you're a single guy, calling it a chick magnet is an understatement. Girls have approached me asking to take selfies sitting in it or leaning on it. Fantastic way to meet new people, as they will come up to you. If you're just a car enthusiast, you will meet many more likeminded people just by taking her out for a spin.
Lastly, after purchase, I suggest joining the Prowleronline community board. We all trade advice, stories, and discuss any issues which may come up, so you always have support!
