The 1969 Road Runner was Motor Trend’s Car Of The Year and is still regarded by many as one of the most desirable cars from the muscle car era. This 1969 Hardtop Road Runner is equipped with the legendary 440 engine and a set of 3 X 2 barrel Direct Connection carburetors, a combination which is good for 3rd place on a ranking of the fastest muscle cars of all time compiled by Muscle Car Review, the definitive source on all things related to muscle cars. This car makes a bold statement with K2 code Vitamin C orange paint and black A12 style hood, brand new black steel rims and brand new redline tires. The undercarriage and trunk are both good, solid condition. The body of this car is straight and the paint is in very good condition (with a few very minor blemishes). The black vinyl top is also in very good condition. The interior is clean with no rips, tears or cracks. A modern Pioneer stereo system has been installed using the original speaker openings (with a 2 way dual cone front dash speaker replacing the original 4 X 10).
