1970 Plymouth Roadrunner 383 4 Speed.
What can I say...I have know this car when I was in my late teens and I am now 57. It has always been taken care of and kept original as possible. I bought the car in 2002 from the third owner that had it stored since 1996. I have all the original paper work including booth production broadcast sheets. It is a original hemi orange car and the interior of the truck has not been repainted. The vinyl roof is still original but showing some age. I had the car repainted in 2003.
The engine, transmission and rear end are all original power train. The engine was rebuilt at 85000 miles. The transmission was reconditioned. The rear end was rebuilt and is 3.55 limited slip.
Options:
-Grabber hood-Heavy duty cooling 26 in. radiator-Heavy duty brakes..11 inch drums-Heavy duty clutch-Hemi suspension.
It came with no power brakes or power steering. Power steering has been added.
I changed to Chrysler electronic ignition. The original distributor comes with the sale.
I changed the wheels and tires to new 15in rally wheels. The sale comes with the original 14in wheels and tires.
I changed the carburetor to a 650 Holley with no choke. The original carburetor comes with the sale.
I changed the steering wheel to a wood grain. The original steering wheel comes with the sale.
If you are looking for a Roadrunner that has originality with paper work this could be your car. If you want a roadrunner that can drive with respect like it has been driven for years, this could be what you need.
If your looking for a Roadrunner that you can smoke the tires for half a block and drive it like you stole it, this is not what you want.
I can drive the car to Pembina North Dakota ( 58271 ) for pick up. It would be cheaper that way. Also I can recommend a custom broker that is located in Winnipeg.
