This is the year to get, This was Mother Mopars highwater mark when it comes to the Roadrunner in my opinion.
The lines on the 1970 are second to none. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door for a entry level builder. Go big with a Hemi 4 speed or do a Petty Superbird clone. You can go in any direction not to mention just build it back to stock. Its a win-win.
This is a real Roadrunner, not a Satellite clone. The fendertag and vin tag are still on the car with matching radiator support and trunk lip. They call out a great ride as ordered back in the day. It is the postcoupe with the pop out windows for more body stiffness, F8 green on a black bench seat interior, matching black vinyl top and a auto on the column. Manual steering and brakes make this car a street predator back in the day. All business 383 Magnum brute with no power/weight robbing options.
Thats the good so to speak, now for the worthy challenge, As seen in the pics this car is a roller and will need its fair share of parts, effort. What you see is what you get, It does have all the glass, windshield (cracked), steering wheel and column and dash frame only. Front and rear bumper cores, gas tank, rear seat, front bucket seat frames only, (needing a complete rebuild) and a no name 26in radiator core, It is missing the gauges, heater box, grill, headlight buckets, taillights.
Its front frame rails need some attention and a set of safety cap repair rails are included (750$value) in this sale. The pans and lower 1/4's were repaired years ago. Your call, put new ones in or make it a driver/ street racer or complete show car.
Rear frame rails look good as do the rockers, doors firewall etc. This rusty car needs a full resto and is priced to reflect this. It needs it all. If you have concerns or questions call or come on out and give it the full inspection. I do encourage this and can get it up on a lift for you if needed.
This car is being sold as is and considered a parts car, builder with a bill of sale only. State of Ca will title it with a v.i.n. inspection and this car does not have any DMV back fees due.!
