This is advertised through word of mouth and could be sold at anytime. The vehicle is stored indoors locally in Costa Mesa, California adjacent to the John Wayne Airport (SNA) in Orange County.
This highly optioned 1969 Roadrunner Convertible clearly benefits from a restoration completed in 2011 with final details handled by the renowned Restorations by Julius in Chatsworth, California. One of approximately 1, 600 Roadrunner convertibles built for 1969, this example includes factory A/C, the radio converted to AM/FM/.mp3, bucket seats, center console, fender turn signals, light group, three-speed wipers, and hood striping. The vehicle was also upgraded to front disc brakes. The Roadrunner is understood to drive and stop well.
During the restoration, the Roadrunners drivetrain was rebuilt, and a new interior was installed including new carpeting. New electrical, instruments detailed by Redline, A/C converted to R134A, a new convertible top and hydraulics, a new fuel tank and lines, and a vintage AGM battery are other desirable items.
