Description:

This Road Runner has 300 miles since restoration. It runs really good and looks nice. Stops great with upgraded disc brakes on the front and belt drive vacuum pump with constant vacuum all the time. 400 Engine standard bore new rings and bearings, mild cam, new lifters and timing chain, standard valve grind, new water pump, new oil pump, new fuel pump, new Edelbrock carburetor, all new seals and gaskets. It has good oil pressure and runs cool with the recored 4 row radiator. New battery, new alternator, new starter, new voltage regulator, new ignition box - charges fine, new exhaust, new wheel bearings and brakes, heater works on all speeds. The AM/FM radio works. Trunk light, glove box light, map light, buzzer dome light, all work. Tinted glass, new windshield. New windshield wipers and windshield washers work. New 15” tires and new rims. Bumpers rechromed. New interior is all black and very nice. Has the original dash and pad. All the lights work even the hood indicators, dash lights, and license plate light. When you open the doors, the interior light comes on as it should. The Odometer reads 74, 206.1. A tremendous amount of time was spent on this car to keep it as close to original as possible. I have owned and driven many of these Road Runners and upgrading the brakes and going to 15” tires was my first priority on this car. Great addition. This one came from the factory with front and rear sway bars.
This is an awesome solid car for whoever wins the bidding. You will have a NICE Road Runner to go have a ball in. The engine has a crisp rumble to it when it idles. It got its first oil change this week. Cruising around in this muscle car will turn heads. It is a real attention getter. The trunk is prepped for speaker wires if you want to go with after market sound enhancement. I just couldn’t remove the original stuff. It ALL works, even the fader control! The Hemi Orange paint is about four months old with a couple of minor imperfections and the car has a really nice shine. The doors shut smoothly, and the “beep beep” horn works. Alignment has been done and the car drives very well. Transmission resealed with new filter. It may be the original transmission to the car. The 8 3/4 rear axle has the 323 gear ratio with new wheel bearings and seals. The engine is a little newer, never had the original engine. The core support, cowl, VIN tag, and door jam sticker all match the title in my name.

“Restored. Minor fine scratches in the hood by driver side hood pin that are hard to see in different lights. It is a nice car, the paint is not super duper show quality, but I would not have any problem taking it to a car show. This car looks really nice and there may be some other little fine scratches someplace else on it. No broadcast sheet. No fender tag. I heard that you could get them, but I never looked into it.”
