1968 Plymouth Roadrunner: Real RM21 car! This Road Runner started life as a B5 blue on black, 383 4bbl, A-833 four speed manual transmission, manual drum brake, manual steering, deco package car which means it came with fender mounted turn signals, a slightly nicer interior than base model Road Runners, and some trim that was otherwise deleted from base model Road Runners.
Unfortunately after having a hard first 48 years of life the car has some floor rust (mostly small holes) and a poorly repaired drivers front floor, and the trunk floor has small holes all over too, front left frame rail needs replaced and inner fender patched from an old battery leaking acid. The Road Runner has no engine or trans currently and the manual pedals were swapped for automatic pedals prior to my ownership. Also the car has no seats, hood, front bumper, or grille.
While the car is rough it could be restored with todays available sheet metal or a parts car and enjoyed for years to come! It's been waiting to be restored since being saved from the jaws of a crusher in the 1980's! Included with the car is an extra pair of doors and some small odds and ends that were boxed up in the trunk when I got the car. I also have a 1969 383 short block that will come with the car, it may still be usable but will definitely need bored out to clean up the cylinder walls. I have no proper place to store it and too many projects sitting around to justify holding on to this Plymouth any longer so it's time to find it a proper new home!
