for sale

Price: US $2,125.00

Description:

1969 Plymouth Roadrunner factory 4-spd 383 car. Rare triple X9 trim code with RM21 option (coupe). The car was originally black and at some point was painted red. The black is still visible in the engine compartment and rear wheel wells. Old license plate indicates the car was last tagged in 1995. The casting # on the motor comes back as a 400BB mid 70's era. The trans and rear end look to be original. Matching VIN is still visible on the radiator support.
The interior is black diamond pleated vinyl with the classic panoramic rear view mirror. Headliner looks original. Engine has Mickey Thompson valve covers with headers. The engine runs smooth, no smoke/leaks.
It looks like lower rear quarter patches might have been repaired before but need to be redone. Trunk is driver quality. 2 spots on the drivers door, 1 spot passenger side rocker panel, Rear window lower corners have minor rust. Hood has rust on the front nose portion. An extra back window came with the car when I bought it. This will be included.
I have replaced the brakes (shoes, hoses, M/C, wheel cylinders), fuel system (new tank, lines, fuel pump and carb), re-cored radiator (66 BB not original) new alternator, water pump, belts, starter, battery. Points style has been switched to electronic ignition (Petronix) The car has traction bars still on it.
Front end rebuild in progress. . All new MOOG CA bushings, ball joints, tie rods ends/sleeves, idler arm, end links, shocks (KYB gas-a-just).
