Description:

I have owned this car since 2002. I didn't even put 1000 miles on the car since then. I bought the car because of how original it was, problem was I could never bring myself to modify it and since have bought a 69 belvedere I built as more of a strip car, so time for this one to go to someone who will enjoy it. It sat in the barn for long enough. I did not drive it much and it hasn't been on the road since the body was finished, new brakes and so on. It is not a mint show car, was never intended to be one, just a really nice driver you could drive and enjoy and go to shows/cruises and be proud of it. Has the fender tag and has 2 build sheets, one is pretty nice. The car is the sport model and is basically the same as a gtx except no 440 engine.
The interior is mostly original except for the front seat covers and carpet/console side carpet. Otherwise is is all factory and pretty nice considering that. All the switches all original even the fader for the dash lights and still works perfect. All interior lights work and it's really bright in the dark, not just a dome light like most old mopars. The rear seat seams on top have split a little, also the rear of the headliner seam has... happened in the past few years since the front seat/carpet was done. The radio face plate is missing the lower bar, so wouldn't hurt to swap in a modern radio. The original radio works, but the dial won't move much and the speaker is finally coming apart.
The engine and transmissions were removed and resealed in the past 18 months. The engine has new gaskets, carb had a kit put in, new valve stem seals... reason it was pulled, it needed them most of all. New trans filter and seals. New water pump and fuel pump. Motor was painted orange because I could not find a good original red paint that covered well. Engine has the original headpipe, one pic shows where it connects to the rear section... it's not the prettiest, but works fine. The tip is a road runner style, just a single exhaust.
The body had the quarters replaced, outer wheel houses and trunk floor... pretty typical for these year b-bodies. The car is painted in dupont base/clear coat in its original gg1 dark racing green. It looks black at night when there isn't much light and really brightens up in the sun. It has a new legendary vinyl top just done in the past few weeks. The roof was fully painted/cleared also, so no worried of it rusting/bubbling underneath. It has brand new AMD bumpers front and rear. It has new door handles also with original black style buttons for 68/early 69. It is a factory undercoated car and it was reapplied when the new panels were installed. Also still has the original trunk mat, although cracked and has the original 14 hubcaps.
The brakes are all new front to rear except the drums/cables. New shoes/wheel cylinder, stainless steel lines, rebuilt master cylinder. It also has a new gas tank with good working original sending unit, not a repop that doesn't read the correct level. Also has a 3/8 stainless fuel line... had planned to swap in a 440 years ago, reason I went with the bigger line.
Has 15x7 cop wheels all around with almost new cooper cobra tires, 235/60 and 255/60s, might be down 1 or so 32nds of tread. Has an 8-3/4 rear with 2.76 open gears, great for cruising.
The only changes I made from original are the top was originally green, now black... couldn't handle too much green. The wheels were originally 14 and engine changed to orange. Rear glass and front glass are not original. Also originally had wheel opening moldings, had an repop set to try but didn't like the fit, so I returned them and never got a set.
Like I mentioned, this is no perfect show car, but a nice original/partially restore driver. Lots of room in these models, can easily fit 4 or 5 people.
Car/title will not leave my possession until full payment has cleared.
