For sale:1947 Plymouth Special Deluxe - CHOPPED. Chop was done by previous owner. Not sure how much it was chopped. It has a Cadillac 390 c.i. engine and TH400 transmission. The transmission has been rebuilt and will need a shift kit, a torque convertor and drive shaft to be functional. The engine needs a distributor cap and wires and it's not currently running. This car is a project and the engine will need to be gone through. It will need a new wiring harness to accommodate the 12 volt system. The brake light on the driver side is damaged and will need to be replaced, the passenger side is missing.I have the fender and hood mocked up for taking pictures. The front fenders, inner fenders and hood need to be bolted on to the car.All the side trim is included, see picture. All the window moldings are there, except for windshield frame-it's missing one half. The back window is from a 1940 Mercury. The trunk is missing sheet metal and gas tank and the frame has been c-notched for a lower stance. It has also been set up for air bag suspension. One set of bags has been set up but it still needs a compressor, air lines, etc...The body is in over all good shape. See pics. It will need some fabrication to be completed. It will also need brakes and steering column/box. Out of state and out of country buyers are welcome to bid. Current title status is not registered and the license plates are not available but I do have the title for it. Out of state and out of country buyers are welcome to bid. Winning bidder is responsible for arranging pick up and shipping for the car. Full payment is required prior to shipment and or pick up of car, unless picking up in person, $500 deposit required within 48 hours of auction.
