1967 Pontiac Bonneville 428 ci, auto, A/C, 34500 on odometer. Very solid car and very cool car. Hard to find with the 'Good' motor, the 428. This is a time capsule car, it's very, very original and unmolested. It is a one family car, purchased by a woman in in 1968 from her sister who bought it new in 1967. It was last run and registered in 1985. Vehicle was bought from the original family and have stories about the car. It was stored in a garage for about 25 years and outside double covered for the last 5 or so.
DRIVETRAIN- Completely original and stock. This is the famed 428 that has original air cleaner, carb, heads, valve covers, etc. . Motor turns easily by hand from the crank. Was not stuck. Everything looks good like it should run pretty easily.
INTERIOR- It's all there. Needs the easy over type restoration you would think. Needs headliner, carpet for sure. Door panels and seat covers are in pretty good condition. I think the drivers seat needs new padding but there are no tears in it. Dash does not have any cracks in it, benefit of being indoors for so long. Windows roll up and down fine.
BODY- Very good solid, straight body. Much better than normal, shows that it was kept indoors for many years. Trunk has a few spots in it but very solid. Floors solid with couple of soft spots. Fenders, doors, hood, deck lid, quarters very nice. Back edge of trunk open where rubber weatherstipping is has some rust, easy fix. Windshield is cracked and at the top of windshield has a leak, but that will get fixed with a new window gasket anyway. Back window area is great. Rocker trim looks great. Has all 4 hubcaps. No spare tire.
Overall this a very cool special ride. These fastback cars look great. Go with something a bit different than GTO, these full size Pontiacs are rising in price, add the solid condition, especially the 428 factory air and you have a killer project. Gold on Gold combo is nice too. Car is sold with Georgia Bill of Sale, no title required in Ga to buy or sell cars of this era, check with your state.
