Up for auction is a 1978 Pontiac Catalina Safari Station Wagon. This vehicle has a CLEAN TITLE. Mechanically this is a great car. I have personally been driving it every day for the past 2 weeks and I would not think twice about taking it on a road trip. It has a rebuilt small block 400 in it. New breaks and break lines. I bought this car from the original owner and it has 65000+ original miles. I cannot say enough how great of a driver this car is. It does need cosmetic work. It can use a new paint job and some cosmetic interior work. The interior has some wear and could use some TLC but nothing over the top. This vehicle does have that rear facing 3rd row that is great for road trips with children or adults. It has some scratches and dings on the sides and doors. As far as I can tell this is a rust free car. It is a great candidate for a mid level restoration job. You would not have to do anything mechanical to the car and you can drive it while you do the cosmetic things. I bought this car with the intentions of pulling the motor out but I was not able to get the other vehicle I wanted to do the swap. I have considered keeping this car and doing a restoration myself but I don’t have the time. The car is located in Clarksville TN and if any serious buyers would like to come and look at it and take it for a test ride give me a call or text. This car is being sold as is, where is. The buyer is responsible for shipping/moving this vehicle. If you have a license plate to put on it, the car can easily be driven to save on shipping if that’s what the buyer prefers.
