1985 Fiero GT, Aldino Kit (83 Ferrari BBI Special), Built Turbo 3.1L, 4spd...
I am
posting my 1985 GT, 4spd, Built 3.1 Turbo. My loss, your gain… I have over
$8000 invested. This auction is no reserve starting well under half of that.
The reason is that I let it sit too long. It won’t jump start, but has power
when hooked up. It will need to be towed. I would double check the belts, plugs
and wires. The starter isn’t getting power. Tires hold air, but will need to be
replaced. I planned on swapping the kit onto another car, but found another
project car shortly after purchase. I never registered, or daily drove this car.
I drove it from
Chicago
to
Indianapolis
, and it drove great. The engine has no
leaks and sounded great. The clutch is strong. The transmission is good. I have
the rest of the Ferrari emblems, but there is minimal body work (sanding, repairing, priming) before painting to get it “show” worthy. It will have Red
MOMO seats that need rails ordered. Here is the breakdown if you just look at
it from a parts point of view:

1985
Pontiac
Fiero GT - $1500
3.1 V6 - $2000
Turbo Kit
installed with A2A intercooler - $2500
Transmission
rebuild w/ Centerforce dual friction clutch - $1500
Aldino Kit with
emblems *installed with great alignment* - $12, 000
17” Chrome
wheels with the proper offset - $1200
Red MOMO seats
- $500
**Over $20, 000
value starting at only $3000! It’s been sitting to the point it needs to be towed. It can start being push started, but I wouldn't drive it until changing the fluids, tune-up, checking belts and tires. Instead of putting more money and asking for more... I'm willing to take a huge loss to make it affordable to use it as a parts car to swap onto your favorite Fiero. Rich in Wisconsin makes the kit, and will swap the kit onto your Fiero for under $1000 (and swap your Fiero's part onto this one for resale). I also have a bunch of Fiero upgrades for sale
separately. I will throw in a red carbon fiber headliner if bidding goes over $5000.
Good Luck +
Happy bidding!
