I have a 1973 Pontiac Firebird that was built for Pro Touring but is now ready for the road. It started its life as an Esprit. It has a new crate 455 built engine with only around 550 miles on it and it shakes the ground and sets off car alarms when it fires up. It has a racing push button start and some serious horsepower with straight headers so it's crazy fast. It does not need to be smogged as it was built before 1976. Paint was recently sandblasted off down to the metal and a quick black paint coat was put on to protect the metal. Has Pontiac seats in perfect condition, four wheel disc brakes and a brand new Optima battery and an electric fuel pump in the trunk and the firewall, floor and back wall has been sound dampened. It's an automatic trans and has a race shifter, over sized drive shaft and trans, drive line and 10 bolt rear end have all been redone. Since the suspension was set up for racing, it needs to be lifted so it doesn't scrape the ground over bumps and needs an air filter but it has the Trans Am shaker hood scoop with it. Windows are new and window trim is in great shape. Needs some interior work with headliner and side panels but seats are good. Has new racing radiator so it does not overheat. Ready to finish for the street or strip. Runs fast and smooth and idles like a dream.
Car comes with the 5 star wheels and nearly new tires pictured, not the Rally wheels and BF Goodrich tires.
This is not the right car for a teenager looking for their first car or an inexperienced driver. It's way too powerful for someone like that, so Dads...don't even think about it for your kids, even if they say Please.
This thing is insanely FAST.
