Lauderdale show room is this beautiful 1968 Pontiac Firebird Convertible. With a glossy Meridian Turquoise exterior and Deluxe Teal Comfort Weave on the interior this 68 is perfect with the white convertible top. This was a very popular choice for the Firebird and Camaro first generations. As per the VIN this Firebird was not factory optioned with power steering or a ram air intake. During its restoration they brought the 400ci to life with a functional ram air intake with hood cutout and tachometer and installing power steering with all factory parts brackets and locations. Drive train is fresh with 3.23 gears. Engine is XT block balanced blueprinted and dyno tested at 307HP. Transmission is totally rebuilt with a mild shift kit making it optimum performance without compromising any of the original features of the car. Factory options including Factory A/C folding rear seat front disc brakes power windows and dual exhaust. Even the under carriage was entirely sandblasted with new floors new trunk pan all primered painted sealed and then painted again black. It also has stiffened components for the convertible. The entire front frame was pulled out sandblasted acid etched primered and painted hot rod black like factory. Suspension is also new with new Control arms ball joints rubber bushing springs tie rods spiral shocks rear leaf springs etc. even the interior wiring and brakes are all new!!!
