ROLLING CHASSIS CAR
Here is my 1979 Firebird up for auction I have owned this car since 1989 when I bought the car it had a V6 engine and a 3 speed manual transmission .
This car won two trophies at the Street Machine Nationals Du Quoin IL
I removed engine and trans installed a small block Chevy engine with dual quads & 4 speed transmission which do not come with car it.It is a rolling chassis only .
The car comes with
Hood cut out for dual quads not in pictures
1969 Camaro 12 bolt rear end powder coated red with Richmond 4.88 gears auburn possi unit
Lakewood traction bars powder coated yellow
Frame connectors welded in
Roll cage welded to frame
Epoxy primed & Imron painted gas tank with mural
Msd ignition circle track box , Auto Meter gauges
Seats and carpeting replaced years ago but look great also trunk is carpeted and roll bar has leather cover on it even in trunk.
The car has hail damage to roof , trunk and rear quarters . Material for head liner has fallen off There is rust in spots and some scratches remember it is 36 years old but very cool !
Future auction will include a lot of factory parts for this car
New boxed GM hood , front fenders .wheel wells .rear quarter panels and outer trunk skin , upper & lower control arms
