Up for auction is a very rare Firebird with the Sprint option. It is a 250 CID, 6 cyl, overhead cam with a four barrel carb and manual transmission. It has 10.5:1 comp and 230 horsepower. The motor is all original with the ZH code and matching VIN numbers. Trans and rear is also original to the car. Car comes with original broadcast build sheet, found behind rear seat.
This car will need full restoration to bring it back to the condition it deserves. It had an amateur restoration years ago. Rust is showing in several spots. It will need floors, trunk, quarters, and fenders. Shock towers look solid. Frame rails look good also. Car runs and drives but it will need some brake work. It has power disc brakes. Trans shifts fine and clutch feels good.
