1992 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Convertible, 1 of 663 T/A convertibles made in 1992, the last year of 3rd generation production. This car is original, unmolested, and ready for restoration. Mileage is 73, 967, low because the car has been in storage since 2004.Body is in great shape, except for paint, which has faded, with the clearcoat off in spots. it will need a complete repaint. original burgundy metallic, with tan cloth interior, and tan convertible top. top is in need of replacement. interior is in presentable shape, no rips or tears in the seats, no cracks in dash...needs the carpet cleaned or replaced. car runs great, no smoke or burning oil, no rattles, runs as it should, has had a recent tuneup. options include power windows and locks, A/C, Am/FM/Cassette (works), power steering and brakes, WS-6 Package, including the gold wheels and center caps. both fog lights work, and lenses are intact (most are broken) also has power antenna and fold down rear seat. it is missing the front ground effects on both front fenders...these can be picked up on e-bay. car is not currently registered, and would be drivable with a set of tires. tires all hold air and look good, but are weather rotted. brakes are new all around, as is exhaust. it is a 305 tune port fuel injection, automatic. reason for selling is too many projects, not enough time. I will be listing other project cars, including some other convertibles...1984 Nissan 300ZX, 1977 Ford Thunderbird, 1985 Olds Cutlass Ciera, all converted by professional coachwork companies. NOTE: this car is for sale locally, and I reserve the right to end the auction early. I have the title for this car, issued in 1996 to the second owner...it does have a lien on it, BUT IT IS SIGNED OFF and title is signed...I have checked with my state, and it is totally clear. the car will start right up and drive onto a trailer or transport. it would drive any distance, but again would need tires and registration. new items on car as of this date include both power window motors, exhaust, brakes, idler pully, distributer cap, and wires. will not ship, but will help shipper load. prefer cash on pickup, or pay-pal.
