I am selling my 1976 Pontiac Firebird Formula in great shape. Runs excellent. Suspension is tight and relatively rattle free. Reliable and dependable. I recently drove it 600 miles round trip with no issues. I sat in traffic and cruised at 70 mph without issue. I would feel confident driving it cross country as is. Tracks straight and smooth. It has a huge engine but do not expect a speed demon. Sounds great. Looks awesome. Turns heads. Constantly get compliments and thumbs ups on the road.
Numbers matching original engine and transmission were rebuilt with pretty much stock parts, nothing fancy.Always starts right up with first turn of the key. I let it warm up well before driving it. Shiny paint with clean interior. No rips or tears. Minimal rust, nothing breaking through the paint. Underside is clean. It is a Florida car.
Strong engine and transmission. Newer tires on the rear. Front tires are fair. Wipers, headlights, speedometer, tachometer, temperature gauge, and stereo work. The pics appear a bit orange to me but it is red. I am willing to drive it to your local mechanic for a prepurchase inspection.
Decent stereo with cd player. T tops are easy to remove and install. They fit nicely side by side in the trunk. Please review my feedback and buy with confidence. Worldwide shipping available. | “Excellent condition inside and out. Runs great. Car is 40 years old so expect wear and tear. Not show car quality but a decent restoration. Some gauges don't work. When starting the car you must manually retract the key a click or the starter will continue to turn. Probably just a worn ignition switch. I don't think the secondary barrels on the carburetor are hooked up to open on demand. Horn doesn't work. Dime sized chip in the paint on the center of the hood. Air conditioning and heat is inoperable. T tops leak only when it rains!” |
