The Story Behind the Car:
This car was purchased by my mother in 1978 and she drove the car back and forth to work (round trip of appx. 5 miles). I inherited the car a couple of years ago and have spent just over $35, 000 in restoring the car to its former glory. The original factory color was Berkshire Green and when we repainted the vehicle we chose to go with the black with silver accent stripe. All the mechanical work on this car was maintained by a high school friend of mine (first by his father who owned the station, and then by him when he inherited the station). Parts have been changed as needed and replaced with original factory parts.
The body restoration work and the interior were completed by another high school classmate who spent over 6 months getting it just right.
