Up for sale is a fully documented (see photos) John Lingenfelter 1995 Formula Firebird. Car is currently on its 4th owner who performed the entire upgrade to its present state. This Firebird has never been in any accidents, nor has it been repainted. It retains all of the original equipment, glass, interior, radio, 383 cu. in. stroker motor, and its Lingenfelter, fiberglass front end.
Current owner has had the car 5 years and just completed the upgrades during the past year. All of the recent modifications listed below, including an entire engine rebuild, were performed less than 50 miles ago by Maryland Performance Specialties!
It is 100% street legal, runs on pump gas, with all working turn signals, brake lights, head lights, etc. Firebird has not been raced since completion. Engine dyno’d at 550+ bhp on throttle, no bottle.
Unfortunately, due to personal reasons the owner has to sell the car.

Additionally, the rebuild included a new Lunati crankshaft, pistons, and connecting rods.

Subframe connectors
12 bolt Chevrolet differential with 31 spline Moser axles; 4.10:1 ratio and a spool.
NHRA legal wheel studs
Weld Drag Star wheels on all four with:
26 x 6 x 15 Front radials
P325 x 50R x 15 M/T Drag Radials on the rear
INTERIOR
Stock front seats with 5-way harness on driver’s side
Spohn roll bar with quick release side bar
Stock instrumentation
AM/FM/CD player
