If you've been looking for a investment, this is it. A very difficult to find numbers matching 68' Firebird 400 Convertible. Most out there are clones, tributes, ect. Now, if you find a real 400 convertible odds are the original 400 is long gone. This is a rare find and is being sold very reasonably. I had a collection of 3, and this is the last one.
Now, if you are looking for a restored car, this is not it. This is a very original car with one repaint. The only deviation from original per PHS and trim tag is the car was Mayfair Maize originally, now regimental red. It was a very nice job when it was done, but it's been 20 years. The car has some nice factory options:

Car is #'s matching per engine unit number and partial VIN on block below water pump.
The car still looks and shows great. it's very tight and solid. No mud bucket here. With super solid floors and trunk, it's nice to know you have a uncut piece.
The drivetrain was resealed about 6 years ago and hardened valve seats installed for unleaded fuel. A kick of the throttle and a flick of the key and she's ready to drive anywhere, anytime. The car has a aftermarket intake and carb on it, but the originals are included...as well as the original 262 carburetor.
A super reliable very nice driver.
The top is black and is new. The interior is black Custom (Deluxe) and in very nice original shape.
Just a real tight super solid, correct car...
