I've owned this car for almost 15 years. It has been in a climate controlled garage the entire time that I have owned it. When I bought the car in 2001 it had a salvage title. It now has a reconstructed title. I restored and upgraded the car in the first two years of ownership. Still to this day it gets complements on a regular basis. It's a rare 5 speed stick shift, which makes it more of a sports car. The hood is a 2002 style fiberglass unit. I still have the original hood if you want it. Originally, the car was Gray. I had it painted Silver with Metallic Black stripes. The pin stripes are reflective black, they appear Silver at night. The front fender emblems are reflective yellow. The inside of the hood scoops are reflective Red, (nostrils). The wheels are 16 formula wheels painted black with the five spokes done in reflective Black and the center spinner hubs are mounted on ball bearings and actually spin. The steering wheel is from Flaming River and has a firebird emblem on the horn button. Also, the spinners on the wheels have the matching firebird emblems. The taillight are now sequential (like a mustang). Under the hood is the stock 305 with TPI fuel injection. The air filter is a K&N unit that is designed for a Porsche 911. This makes the Ram Air hood functional. I had the seats reupholstered to match the paint job. The shift knob has a firebird etched into the top of it. I made the dash and console covering to look like engine turned aluminum. I also added the Trans Am floor mats and had a custom made T-top storage bag made for in the back of the car. The car runs great. I just have too many cars at this point. It's time for someone else to enjoy it.
