First off, the car is a daily driver and starts, runs, and drives beautifully. This car was purchased new by a family member and owned by her until we inherited it last year with about 34K miles. She made trips around town in it since new, so it sat a lot but was driven routinely.
When we obtained it we did the following work on it. Replaced the exhaust, battery, alternator, water pump, belts, and wiper blades. The paint and vinyl top were weathered, so we had a quality paint job put on and the vinyl top was replaced. The interior is original and in very good condition with no tears, cracks, or permanent stains. The headliner was replaced but looks a little lumpy due to some of the foam having to be removed when taking out the old headliner. The lid to the center console is broken at the hinges and has a couple of splits. A/C works great, heater works, windows and locks work, gauges and lights all work, radio works. The tires are good.
Very recently the odometer developed an occasional issue where it will start to click and won't keep mileage, however most of the time it works fine. I am afraid to take out the cluster to look at it as I don't want to break any plastic trim, but I can assure that the mileage is accurate to within 500 miles.
The car is rust free with the exception of the trunk lip (See pic). It has some rust but not all the way through. There are no noticeable dents with just a few rock chips and minor scratches.
This car is not a show car, but a great, dependable daily driver that gets lots of compliments and is fun to drive.
