1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP

Pontiac Grand Prix GTP (1998)
for sale

Price: US $1,995.00

Description:

High bidder gets BOTH, the '98 AND '99 Grand Prix GTP coupes. With all that's here, and if your looking for a nice project over the warm months, these two cars combined would make a SWEET ride for sure!
Started project to combine the two cars into one nice one. Now at age 60, just no time to finish.
Both cars have all keys, factory manuals, and clear regular titles. Hayne's manual also included.
The good,
1) '98 has low mileage (under 80K miles) great running engine. See dash picture showing tachometer at idle rpm. I drove it for about 350 miles before beginning this project. Once a battery is installed, starts right up , idles nicely, revs good. Supercharger makes no strange unusual sounds. Trans shifts as it should. Engine needs new valve cover gaskets however. NO battery for either car. I used one from another car to run engine every couple months. Recently added fresh gas.
2) good bolt on body panels including (3 doors, 4 fenders, 4 bumper covers, 2 hoods, 2 trunk lids, three spoilers)
3) both cloth and leather interior options. BRAND NEW rug and floor mats. Never installed.
4) RUST FREE steel rocker molding attachment panels. Bought from a S.Carolina salvage yard
5) BRAND NEW aftermarket outer rocker panels.
6) replacement rear bought from S Carolina salvage yard with VERY LITTLE MINOR surface rust.
7) Comes with 2 new car dollies. Currently used to move '99 around safely and easily.
8) Comes with NEW , (only used once ) engine hoist. Worked great when pulling bad '99 engine
9) nice leather seats in '99.
10) Cars have a total of 6 regular wheels and one nice spare.
11) plenty of extra parts will be left over including one transmission. Keep extra parts as spares, sell them off, or scrap any metal parts including rusted '98 body for extra cash.
12) '99 has ALL factory options except factory polished wheels. Including Heads Up Display
Not so good,
1) '99 right rear 1/4 panel is badly rusted but worth fixing as opposed to replacing ( see picture). I'm a pro body man and making replacement steel inner and outer panels not overly difficult with cardboard templates then mig weld in place
'99 Has 157, 600 miles
2) some minor dents in '99 left 1/4 and scrape area of trunk lid.
3) '99 rockers just starting to show signs of being rusted through, but NEW panels come with car .
'99 has been kept inside my shop since purchase. I keep seized engine. Supercharger on the engine is possibly sold separately.
4) '98 is badly rusted underneath. Hydraulic lines and parking break cable are compromised (car has no breaking ability).
Cars are located just minutes north of Northeast Philadelphia, PA. Close to PA turnpike or I 95. I am available to help load for transport. Both cars available to be seen and checked out BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
