I am selling my Grand Prix because I have no time or place to work on some of the small problems it has. It will be a great car for someone that can put a little TLC into it, or for someone looking for parts and or engine/transmission. This has always been a great car with no major issues. I was going to part it out, but decided I did not want to tear her apart. The Bad:*CV Axle passenger needs replaced*AC stopped working, may be low on Freon*Some rust around gas filler cap, door jamb and trunk latch*No cat converter *Passenger window needs motor
The Good:*I have the new housing for the CV axle ( paid $190 )*The engine only has 65, 000 on it since I replaced it ( I have the receipt )*The body is in good shape other than a couple small spots of rust from the Midwest winters*Headlights were replaced and not the original foggy ones that appear on most pontiacs*The interior is in excellent shape*It will start and drive onto a trailer
The $800 asking price is an incredible deal for just the motor or transmission and with just a little effort this could be an awesome car again.
