There were only 750 made in 1989. These cars came loaded with options including heads up display, ABS, leather, with every possible motorized seat adjustment and many others. As far as I can tell all of these options work as they should. I bought this two weeks prior to finding out my beautiful lady and I had a baby on the way and now we have another on the way. Needless to say, I have had this car for about two years and I simply just don’t have the time to put into it. This car unfortunately sat outside for about 12 years prior to me buying it, so the clear-coat is peeling and the front seats need recovered. The back seats look like new and everything in the car seems to work as it should. When I first got the car I replaced the gas tank, fuel pump, sending unit, filter, new spark plugs, wires, oil change and removed and cleaned all the fuel injectors and replaced the battery and got it running. During the time it was sitting prior to owning, the car was hit on the passenger side so I also replaced the door. This car would be a great project that doesn’t need much to become a driver and it only has 82, 000 original miles on it.
Some things I know off the top of my head that it needs are, the tires have good tread but are dry rotted, the brake rotors are rusted and should probably have new pads and rotors, the radiator is leaking and should be re-cored, as stated before the front seats need to be recovered, the battery tray needs to be replaced because the battery was never removed prior to it being parked, I think there may be a grounding problem, because the right turn signal flashes on its own.
This car is also listed locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early if sold. If you are the winning bidder a non-refundable $500 deposit is required via pay pal within 48 hours of auction end. The car must be picked up within a week unless other arrangements are made. You will need a trailer when picking up. The car can be driven onto the trailer but cannot be driven home, because of the leaking radiator.
