1973 Pontiac Grandville Convertible. Factory W code 455 numbers match. 79, 000 actual miles. This big beautiful 1973 Grandville is one of the best ways to be distinctive, yet unmistakably American cars in an affordable package.The desirable 455 V8 under the hood is just the cherry on top of this drop top.This Convertible cruiser has a new power top with a glass rear window which was standard equipment at the time fits nicely in the storage well. The rare 455 CI V8 was optional in 1973 and gives it a nice extra wallup of power, with amazing torque over the original motor. The car has a new battery, alternator, belts and hoses and many other parts. Exhaust is original and in great condition as well.The motor is untouched and has the original carb, manifolds and points. The car flick starts right up and runs well. The 400 turbo trans shifts flawlessly with no leaks. The stunning white interior is in excellent shape and has new carpet. The dashboard is mint with aftermarket 2 knob radio. I do have the working original radio as well.The floors, undercarriage, trunk, and body are mint. Absolutely everything works on this car. The heat works as it should with high and low settings. This car has new brakes and stops on a dime. The power steering works excellent with the ease of your pinky finger. The paint seems to be 90% original. As you would expect this 43 year old paint job has a few chips and imperfections but overall still looks excellent. I take the car to many car shows and it always gets a lot of attention. The car drives exceptional, with no slop when hitting bumps, takes corners as it did in 1973, and drives perfect at 75 miles an hour with no wind noise. Enjoy this car just in time for spring!
