1968 Pontiac GTO Convertible
I bought the car from a 72 year old gentleman that told me he bought the car in 2000 from the original owners. He said he found the car parked in a garage in Pennsylvania since 1977. He said it was parked in 1977 and not moved until he bought it. He had the engine rebuilt and had the transmission and rear end opened up and checked to replace any worn and/or needed parts. I have the paperwork on the engine. It was rebuilt stock and not because it needed rebuilding but because he was restoring the car. Original mileage and interior. The body and paint work look very nice. The car does not leak a single drop of ANYTHING! The upholstery is very clean and pliable with very minimum wear to the driver seat and arm rest. I have drove it approximately 350-400 miles and have taken it on a 120 mile one way trip. It drives straight with hands off the wheel and it brakes straight with hands off the wheel. I just took the car on a 700 mile trip to a week long car show in Reno NV., Hot August Nights. The car ran and performed very well. It is a great all original car in very nice driver quality condition with no surprises
