Hi all. Up for auction I have my friends 1972 LeMans. This car was one of the most extensive and expensive frame off restorations on a Pontiac I have ever seen. It started out as an almost rust free car and was media blasted and received a base clear ppg paint job from a high end local shop and is straight as an arrow. The paint shines like a show car and the stripes are painted on, not decals. Every nut and bolt was removed and is new or perfect original. Everything that bolts to the frame is new and the frame itself was blasted and coated with the correct paint. This car drives like a new car and has all Hotchkis suspension with 4 wheel disc brakes, a 461 stroker engine , a Monster 700r4 overdrive trans with a 2800 stall and lockup converter, and an Eaton posi with 373 Richmond gears. It's also got a Vintage Air ac and heat set up that works great. She rides smoother and handles better than any original GTO-Lemans ever could, and has way more power. I Can't say enough about how nice this car is. I have sold a few cars on Ebay and have always had very happy buyers. I have sold a few GTO's in the $20, 000 range and a judge for 31k and this LeMans is by far the finest car I have ever had the pleasure of selling. It also has way over that 31k into it. Our reserve is $21, 500.00, and the new owner will be very happy I am sure. .. ..

BODY. .. .. .
The body work was done by a bit of a perfectionist. This car was on of the nicest 40 year olds you could ever find and did not need the frame off restoration it received. The only rust through was a few small holes on the fender bottoms and a few pinholes in the trunk corner. One small patch panel was put in the trunk and you can't see where it was done. Instead of patching the fenders he found a mint set of expensive original 72 LeMans fenders. The bumpers are original and show how nice the car was. You might want to rechrome them to be perfect, but trust me they are very nice and don't need it. After the vinyl top was installed he said is wasn't perfect and had another company take it off and put another top on it that looked more like the original one. The paint bill alone was over $4000.00 without materials, which were top of the line PPG.
No expense was spared on this restoration and we have the receipts and manuals. This is a car that would look great in any collection or be the perfect cruiser. Drive the highway in overdrive with the AC on or slap on a set of slicks and run the quarter mile. This car is a comfortable driver with attitude if you want it. I am sure there are a ton of things I am missing but please check out the pictures and ask any questions you may have. The reserve is $21, 500.00.
PLEASE DON'T BID IF YOU DO NOT PLAN ON PAYING. MY FRIEND HAS TO SELL THIS CAR AND NEEDS THE MONEY. WE ONLY SELL TO THE U.S. SHIPPING IS UP TO THE BUYER BUT I WILL HELP IN ANY WAY I CAN. A $500.00 DEPOSIT IS DUE WITHIN 3 DAYS AND FULL PAYMENT IN A WEEK OF THE AUCTIONS END. THANKS AND HAVE A GREAT DAY. .. ....
