1958 Pontiac Starchief. This car just came out of long term storage. It was parked in 1998 after a fender bender. The previous owner purchased the car at the Kruse auto auction in Auburn IN in 1995 with 50, 000 orig miles. The car was from Texas at that time and still wears Texas plates. Car currently has 67, 000 miles. The previous female owner had lots of work done to the car during the 3 years she had it on the road. New water pump, radiator, starter and carburetor rebuilt. Master cylinder and booster rebuilt, new wheel bearings, new brakes, rebuilt drivershaft, 3 u-joints, Generator rebuilt, etc. All paperwork is included. The car currently runs and drives. It will need new tires. The car needs further work to make it a daily driver once again. You can drive it now but we have not gone through the brakes and I would recommend the carb be rebuilt or at least cleaned. This is a factory AC car. The trunk and floors are solid. Only hole is in spare tire well. The body panels are nice except the front drivers side fender and hood in my opinion. There is a dent in the roof and top of drivers rear quarter panel. I have parts for this car at extra cost. The only rust holes in body are behind both rear wheels, very minor and some rust at the trunk floor at base of trunk lock and one rear brace in trunk.
