Price: US $6,500.00
Survivor car, period correct, was used in the filming of Selma. Nassau green two tone with Braeburn Green metallic original colors with gray interior original color. Paint was touched up over ten years ago and interior done more recently. Is a four door but is great for a daily driver. Has lots of new parts and all maintenance recently done to it including all fluids. Some of the new items that I replaced or rebuilt last year are, new fuel pump, rebuilt carb, new regulator, new water pump, new brake shoes all around, new wheel cylinders, new master cylinder, new tires, two nos hub caps, new speedo cable, rebuilt the StratoFlight automatic transmission $2500 alone. Has nice interior isn't original but there are no tears. No rust except where your heals are on the drivers side and its very minimal about the size of a quarter but has been patched over overall this is by far the best shape I've seen one ever in body wise. Original color scheme, everything's there on this car and it drives great. Drove round trip to work during the summer for three months which was 60 miles and on I20 in Atlanta and to several car shows and cruise ins. Gets really good gas mileage and is super dependable will keep up with the traffic going 75mph no problem and at normal rpms. Has great oil pressure and compression. There's not to many like this out there so here's a once in a life chance to get a movie car. Gets attention where ever it goes as its totally 50's style. Everything works but the radio needs a speaker and the speedo skips at higher speeds, and the wipers are vacuum operated and id switch those to a electric style if I was going to keep it, never really cared for the vacuum wipers they tend to not work well in light rain. Will provide bill of sale in GA there are no titles for vehicle over 25 years old, do have original GA 1957 green plates to go with it. Has original dealer tag on trunk lid from Tennessee, has custom pin stripping done by local artist. has one side window that has a crack and some the chrome is not perfect. Vehicle is 58 years old and being a survivor car is not perfect, if you are after a car that is completely almost original and un touched than this is the car for you I would not restore it as its too original and should just be kept up. Get in it an drive. I you have any questions feel free to ask. BTY this car scoot's its way faster than my 57 Chevy with the 283 and power pack.
