He told me that he was the second owner of the car. .He bought it in 2001 and has owned it for the last 17 years. He used it mainly to drive in car tours and meet up with our local car club every thursday in summer. (I inlcuded a pic of the old timer the day he sold it to me) The car runs very well. I personally drove it around 60 miles or so. The v8 ran great. He had the transmission rebuilt r...ecently and it shifts all gears like it should. All of the gauges are working as far as I can see. The car is mostly original. The interior I was told is original to the car and looks very good. Watch the video to get a appreciation of how well kept this car is. the headliner had some very minor wear but servicable. the radio i could not get to work. The body on the car looks very good, i did not see any rust. Very solid. The paint I would call a 8 footer. it has a older lacher style paint job. It was missing the lower chrome strip on the rear fenders, the rest of the chrome is there and looks good survivor quality. the underside looks great with only normal road wear. the trunk looks good. the glass looks good but there was a very small crack on the bottom corner of the driver glass and a small dime size chip in windshield. pretty minor. This truck ran great and I had it up to 60 mph. It really has some power to it. brakes are newer and stop the car well. all of the lights worked. I do not want to overcall this or undercall it. watch the video and pics to see what the car is. This would make a wonderful driver for someone to take to the local ice cream shop or car club tours etc without tying up alot of money. definitely usable the way it is while you tinker with it/restore it to whatever level you want. This would also be good for a entry level collector car the way it is as it always gets smiles and thumbs up and looks the part. as everyone has their own opinion of what a classic car should be, I highly recommend coming to inspect the car your self at my dealer ship showroom teddys auto sales waukon iowa (look me up on the web) or hire ebay to do a indpendant inspection for you. the plates do not go with the car as they are part of my personal collection. I require a 200 dollar non refundable deposit within 24 hours of auction end, if i do not get the deposit within the time frame or before you come for the car, I will assume you are a dreamer or a scammer and not serious about buying it. Terms & Conditions Deposit: a 200 dollar non refundable deposit must be paid by paypal or wire transfer within 24 hours of auction end. Items will not be available for pickup or shipping until full payment is received and cleared by our local bank. Buyer has 7 days to pay in full either by bank wire transfer, mailing check, (no personal checks) or cash in person.Customer has 30 days from end of sale to pick up or make arrangments with me to have the vehicle stored unless noted. All items are sold AS IS with no warranty of any kind unless specified in the ad. We reserve the right to remove any listing due to on site sales. We also require that bidders internationally or with feedback score of zero contact us. Understand that you are buying a collectible vintage classic item that is not intended to be used as your daily transportation unless noted. If you are the winning bid, please be aware that the winning bid on this item is a legally binding contract and the copy of the ebay ad is your bill of sale. I also require a signed purchase agreement by either fax, electronic, or hard copy before vehicle can be released.
Fee and Tax Information: Customer pays sales tax and registration in the state they are from, we do not collect it. The deposit is non refundable, by backing out of the deal, you willingly forfeit the deposit. If no contact is made within 24 hours, we reserve the right to relist the vehicle, sell the vehicle to the next highest bidder, or sell it otherwise. please remember you are bidding on a used vehicle and must understand that there will be normal wear and tear on the vehicle. We do our best to show you every fault we can find but somethings things may go unseen to us. A 20 dollar per a day storage fee will be added to the final price if the vehicle is not picked up within 30 days of the auction end as that is what it cost me to store the vehicles. please contact me if you need more than 30 days prior to bidding
