This is a real Y84 Trans Am equipped with a 5.7 liter tuned port injection V8. The car runs excellent and is a great driver. I purchased this car from a neighbor of mine who owned it for the last 17 years. He hardly drove it, but always gave it the best care. The transmission was replaced in 1999 by a professional shop (only about 10k miles ago) right after he purchased the car.
As the pictures show, the paint is faded and the clear coat has flaked off many portions of the car. This car remains very original and has not been tampered with. It has been owned by adults for its entire life. This car needs a Pontiac enthusiast to give it the care it needs. The power windows and mirrors all work as do all of the lights inside and out, but the car needs some TLC to be restored back to its former glory. Every body panel remains original on the car and the factory VIN stickers under the trunk lid, hood, and under the car are all still in tact although there is evidence of a repair on the passenger's side fender.
The car comes with some extras including factory service manuals and a new magnaflow muffler (see photos). I had planned on making this car my summer project but another 80s American classic has caught my interest, so I must part with my GTA to follow my automotive dreams.
