1978 PONTIAC TRANS AM MARTINIQUE BLUE *** BUILD SHEET *** Up for bids is this privately owned 1978 Pontiac Trans Am. This model features the one year only offered Martinique Blue exterior with bably blue deluxe custon Lombardy cloth interior, air conditioning, and the 2nd generation Hurst T-Tops. Also option loaded with power windows, door locks, and trunk lock pop, rear window defrost, and cruise control. New on the car is : the headliner, carpet, door panels, arm rests, seat apholstry, rear package tray, new paint, decals, weatherstripping thoughout, and tires. ( all replaced due to sun fade ). The interior features the original stock radio and guages all in working order other than the small clock located on the face of the tachometer. The drivetain consists of the original Y72 400 cubic inch engine (220 Hp), Automatic Transmission, and factory 2:56 posi rear axle. No modifications ever from original. The car sits on a solid foundation with solid floors throughout, and all original sheetmetal body panels with no rust, rot , or bondo. Originally equipt with factory rally wheels (included), now sports the popular 15x7 snow flake wheels with brand new P245/60/15 raised white letter radials This is a turn key, drive anywhere car.
