Pontiac Trans Am

Pontiac Trans Am
for sale

Price: US $200.00

Description:

This car started it's life as a 1970 Pontiac Firebird Espirit car with a 350 2BBL carburetor, when I bought the car a period correct 1972 date coded Pontiac 400 was already installed with later model 400 6X heads (its an automatic). The paint is a 5 foot OK job but could use a buff and shine to improve its quality. When I bought the car it had an AC Delete plate on it and all AC parts had been removed. I sourced correct AC Parts and added a new style Sanden AC compressor, the AC needs to be charged with R12 by a licensed AC professional in order to be functional. It comes with new Dual Exhaust installed which makes it sound awesome but not too loud. When I bought the car the gentlemen had already installed the Trans Am parts from a 1972 Trans Am so all the TA parts are all OE parts. The car was a Georgia car and had minimal rust in most areas, the floor boards were perfect, the rear tail panels had pinhole rust so I replaced both with lower patch panels with new inners, the trunk pan also had the usual pinholes at the low part where it meets the back panel so I replaced it with a full trunk pan and undercoated it. The carburetor was sent to quality carburetors in Florida and was completely rebuilt to like new specifications and bench tested on a 400 motor. I also installed 3 point safety belts from Morris ($350.00) value to address safety issues with the older style lap belts which look factory. New carpet, door panels, and headliner was also installed to complete the interior. New door seals, New gas tank with Sender, wiper motor, alternator, starter, PS pump, door hinge pins (0 sag), and to many other new parts to list. Tires are like new with less than 5, 000 miles on them. The dash panel was updated to a 77-81 style dash with tachometer and clock so all gauges/lights work properly (I removed the 8 pin connecor and added the correct 12 pin connecor for the dash). The car is a blast to drive and evokes picture taking and remeber when... discussions wherever it goes. Real TA's are to the point of ridiculous so this is a rare opportunity to drive a classic and not worry about driving a 50K museum relic. I will assist with shipping in whatever way I can, but it's on you to arrange it. Also, no car or title will leave my possession until I am 100% sure the funds are there and not some money order or check that bounces back to me (scammers beware and be on notice). I have too many toys for my 2 car garage so I'm keeping the 1979 CJ7 with factory 304 T18 4 speed and selling this beautiful car. Also, if you are not serious about buying this car please do not bid. Also, if you do not have the money to complete this transaction please do not bid. Also, if you are into kicking tires and offering individuals half of what they are asking or trying to renegotiate after your bid price is final PLEASE DO NOT BID. ENJOY!!!
