Hi and thanks for looking. For sale is a true NHRA special edition Trans Am. This is 1 of only like 538 built. I am the second owner and believe it or not the first owner was an elderly woman that bought it brand new so you can be assured that it was never hot rodded or abused. Although she did drive it as an every day driver so there are minor scratches and fading in the paint. Her son (60yrs old) tried to fix the scratches on the passenger side rear corner panel with dupli color ratel can, it matches good but is rough to the touch and no clear on it. The interior is in good condition but there is a tear in the drivers seat back.( from her having a hard time getting in and out) Also the driver side door panel has a small crack at the top next to where it comes up to the window. From what I have researched this is typical with these cars. Since I've had the car I have put on new cooling hoses, spark plugs, fuel pump, new power steering pump with an after market cooler. The car came with a power steering cooler but is a poor set up so I put on an after market one and new rear tiers 90% and drivers side window motor. Other than the new parts it is all original. There are no leaks in the T-tops, the motor is the LS1 aluminum block and heads witch runs great. It's a 4 speed automatic that shifts good with no problems. All the gages, switches and lights work perfectly. There is a noise coming from the rear end on the passenger side, I think the brake rotor is warped and causing the noise. I don't think its anything major. I've added a picture of the service parts identification sticker on the drivers door with all the build options. You can go to Trans Am world web site to get a list of the options and build numbers. The 1SH on the sticker indicates that it's a true NHRA car and not a clone. I have tried to list any problems and be as forthcoming as possible. Over all it's a great, fun, and FAST car. I think in years to come this car will just go up in value being that it's the last production year and very low production numbered car. Buyer is responsible for pick up or delivery. Thank You and Happy bidding.

“over all good condition, paint needs to be redone because of miner scratches and fading, engine runs strong with no issues, a/c needs recharged, back tires are 90% could use new front tires soon, interior is also good with one small tear on drivers seat back and a small crack on the drivers door panel, new fuel pump, new power steering pump with cooler, new spark plugs, new valve cover gaskets. I'm the second owner and believe it or not the original owner was an elderly lady that bought it brand new, so you can be assured that it was never hot rodded or abused. Although she did drive it as a daily driver and not as a special occasion car. Also the rear end has a noise coming from the passenger side I think it might be a warped rotor making that noise.” |
