For Sale 1983 Porsche 911 SC w/ Porsche Turbo Body.
NOTE: First of all this is a salvage title vehicle!
That said, it is a ground up restoration... Arctic Silver Metallic 1983 911 SC w/ Porsche Turbo Build. This Factory Aircooled Porsche 911, as it stands, has been built from the ground up and is a professionally built 993 Wide body Porsche 911 Turbo, all steel, upgrade… paint is average... rubber, glass and interior are in in very good condition. Includes several additional body upgrades including original European H4 headlights; Sunroof works well and Air Cond blows COLD.
Every part of the car is great hence its selection for such an extensive restoration. I have owned more than 15 porsche 911's over the past 35 years and I consider this one as one of the finest sorted of them all. Everything mechanically has been very well sorted. I welcome anyone to come and see and drive her prior to bidding. We are in Arlington Virginia.
Navy blue leather interior including original leather Carrera Seat upgrade and upgraded stereo / instrument dials with brushed rings. You’ll be hard pressed to find a nicer interior, no cracks on the dash, nice leather seats, door panels, carpets, momo steering wheel.
Completely and professionally overhauled engine and 5-speed manual transmission with under 10K miles.. full documentation provided with sale. Mechanically superb, lots of power. Gearbox is professionally rebuilt with new synchros and sliders.. and excellent with smooth shifting. Clutch package (Sachs) is new, steering and brakes are all spot on. A/C is cold, windows and sunroof work as they should. This is an expensive restoration including 1) New Carrera Oil fed Tensioners, 2) New Bilstein Struts and Schocks. Please note again.. paint is average 6 or 7 of 10. Great reliable driver. The value of this Porsche 911 is in the extensive mechanical upgrades. This is no garage queen !
