This is a nice Porsche 911S. It is rust free, has nice paint and interior, and appears to be all original. The car runs and drives very well, but has a small tire shimmy at highway speed you can feel in the steering wheel.
There are receipts showing that the Carrera type tensioners were installed, but no other documentation showing engine overhaul or other work.
It presents very well and does appear to have been pampered. It has the desirable polished wheels that are in very good condition.
The mileage shows 147K. I was told one of the car's previous owners was a doctor who showed the car. The air cleaner cover on the car is absent the decal, the original air cleaner cover is included. I have a set of mats with the Porsche crest, they are supposedly the original mats, however the edging is frayed in a few places. Also included is a full bra that is not pictured.
The sunroof does not open, I do not know what is needed to repair it. Also, there are a few small imperfections in the paint, and two cracks in the vinyl on the driver's seat.
I'm not a Porsche expert. I know many of you looking at the car will know more about the 911 than I do. Please ask questions and I will get back to you. There are owners manuals, and a few other spare parts not pictured.
The car is located in Salem, Oregon. You are welcome to have someone inspect it in person, prior to the sale. I have a clear Oregon title to the car in my name.
Payment: A non-refundable Paypal deposit of $200 is due within 24 hours of the sale or auction ending. The balance must be paid by electronic wire transfer to my bank, or cash in person.
I will ship the car after it is paid for, however you must make all the arrangements and pay for it.
The car is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early.
