Body, Trim and Paint Originally born as a Targa, the body of this 1970 Porsche 911T was professionally converted to a Cabriolet in the 1980's at a cost of more than $10, 000 at that time, according to the prior owner.  This Porsche resided in California up to the 1980's. It was then moved to Vancouver, British Columbia where it resided until returning to California this year.  The body is very straight with no dents or dings.  The hood, both doors and deck lid all close easily with even gaps.  The rockers and floors are all original with the original undercoating still present. The front suspension pan shows some surface rust, but the metal is completely solid.  All wheel well openings show original factory undercoating and all the critical suspension points are solid with no rust.  All exterior trim parts are in excellent condition, including the original aluminum decklid grille and decklid P-O-R-S-C-H-E emblems (included, but not presently installed). All chrome has very good shine with no corrosion or pitting.  Glass is clear with no cracks or deep scratches and appears to have the optional factory tinting.  The convertible top material and plastic rear window are in very good condition with no rips or other noticeable wear.
The current paint color is Metallic Blue, which was a special order color available in 1970.  The original color was the rare and highly attractive Conda Green.  The paint remains in very good condition overall with just a few minor blemishes.
Interior The interior is in very good condition. The carpet shows no obvious wear.  Top of dash has no cracks.  There is some old adhesive on the top of the dash, but it will be removed prior to delivery to the winning bidder. The original front seats have been recently recovered.  The rear seat backs are present and in good condition.  The headliner of the convertible top is in good condition with no rips or sagging.  A new front trunk Perlon carpet set with correct snaps has been recently installed. New hood shocks have also been installed, so no more drooping hood.  The gauges, switches and knobs on the face of the dash are all original in nice condition.   Electricals Headlights (low and high beams), tail lights, brake lights, license lights, turn signals, horns, windshield wipers  and AM/FM Blaupunkt stereo and stereo equalizer are functional. Hella fog lights are installed and really light up the road.  The starter and alternator are functioning fine. Oil temp, pressure and level gauges and fuel gauge function.  Emergency brake warning light is  functional.  Odometer currently reads 7811 miles, but stopped working sometime within the last 8 months.  Actual mileage and indicated mileage differ by an estimated 100 miles.  The original dual 12 volt battery configuration has been maintained and the batteries are only a few months old. Engine and Transmission The original engine (number 6105857) is still present and runs strong with it's original dual Zenith carburetors installed.  The engine has been upgraded with the later Carrera oil fed chain tensioners.  Service records show the car has been driven approximately 9700 miles in the last 27 years.  The engine starts easily and accelerates with good power.   The following service was completed and documented on 4/24/15 (approximately 100 miles ago):  oil filter, oil change, W7DC spark plugs,   new fuel hoses on carbs, adjusted carburetors and adjusted engine timing. .The original 901 five speed transmission shifts smoothly with no grinding.  First gear is a bit balky when cold, but smooths out after warm up. Clutch engagement is very good with no slippage.

Suspension, Wheels, Tires and Brakes The suspension rides very well with Koni shocks installed.  Steering response feels normal and wheel alignment is good with no vibration felt at high speed. Four wheel alignment was completed approximately 8000 miles ago with record.
A set of professionally polished 15 x 6 Fuchs allow wheels are currently installed and  are in excellent condition.
All four BF Goodrich T/A radial 205/60HR15 tires are in fair condition with no cracks  and good tread.
The four wheel disc brakes are functioning well.  The emergency brake has been recently adjusted and holds tight.
Extra Parts and Documentation The following extra parts are included:  Original jack, spare wheel and decklid P-O-R-S-C-H-E emblems.
Documentation includes clear California title and service and parts records back to 1988.  Paper records also document the mileage as follows:  98, 106 miles on 8/15/89, 98, 463 miles on 9/22/89, 103, 163 miles on 7/3/01, 107, 742 miles on 7/6/06, 107, 810 miles on 4/24/15
