European Collectibles is pleased to offer this stunning Porsche RS America that was just purchased from the original owner in completely original condition. It was purchased new by an artist from Los Angeles who walked into Steve Taub Porsche in Santa Monica to buy a car and he liked the all-black, simple look of this one. During his 22 year ownership, this Porsche has only accrued just over 15, 000 miles. It has been used on the street only and has never seen track use. It has never suffered any accident damage or had any post-factory paintwork, modifications or replacement of any parts. It is bone stock and has only received regular dealer services, tires and batteries. After we purchased this RS, we fitted it with new high-performance tires, installed a new Interstate battery and sent it to an independent specialist for a full evaluation. The tray beneath the engine was removed to reveal factory fresh looking Cosmoline. The spark plugs were removed and compression and leak down tests were performed. Compression was excellent and ranged between 190 and 210 psi across all six cylinders. Leak down was equally impressive with a consistent 4-5%. All filters, fluids, belts and spark plugs were replaced and a minor oil leak was fixed. This rare Porsche is now ready for sale and will surely be a great addition to any collection.
