This 1996 911/993 Carerra is a beautiful example of the last year for air-cooled Porsches. Polar Silver Metallic exterior with Black leather interior. It has Tiptronic transmission with paddle shifters. I've owned this vehicle since 2000, and I'm selling it now only because I recently got married, and my wife and I are starting a family..
I've maintained it in excellent condition. All the maintenance is up-to-date, and I have service records back to 1998. This car has been in Southern California since 1998, with no exposure since then to snow or road salt. It's always been filled with fuel of at least 91 octane. The car passed a Smog Test on 6/1/2015.
To prepare for selling the car, I recently had the following work completed: Rebuilt Climate Controls; Replaced Oil Temperature Thermostat and Oil Level Sender; Replaced Timing Housing and three Timing Chain Rails; Replaced the Ignition Lock Assembly; Replaced Fan & A/C Belts; Rebuilt the Instrument Cluster Circuit; Replaced the Rear Tires; Refurbished All 4 Wheels; and Changed Oil + Filters. New Front Tires 14K miles ago.
I have the Original Manuals and Leather Case; original Jack + Accessories; an Extra Remote + Key; and the Wheel lock. The floor mats are the same I received in 2000, and I believe they are original.
