This Particular Carrera 3.0 was ordered by Japanese car collector Yoshiho Matsuda (Matsuda Porsche Collection) in 1976 & was retained in his private museum collection for the next 23 years covering a few thousand kilometers each year during that time frame. In 1999 it was sold to the second owner in Australia where it has remained until now passing through a further 2 owners.
This Carrera 3.0 remains is its original UNRESTORED as delivered non sunroof form
Exterior paint is mostly original light yellow color a that is stunning & rare, no dents or scratches. It even retains its original windshield. All 4 wheels are the original 15 Fuchs in original unrestored condition.
The interior on this Carrera 3.0 is all original exceptional condition & looks like new. All gauges work as they should & are accurate. Original Japanese radio works well with electric aerial. All carpets are original & in excellent as new condition. Head liner is just perfect.
The engine & 5-speed transmission are all original to this car. The engine has had a top end rebuild & major service recently by a Porsche specialist. The engine is strong & revs up nicely. It shifts in all gears with ease & precision. The clutch is just perfect & light. It has the desirable factory fitted Bilstein shocks. The suspension, brakes & SSI exhaust are original to this Carrera 3.0 & sounds just sublime.
Complete Factory tool kit & correct dated spare wheel are included, both look to have never been used
This car would have to be one of the most original Carrera 3.0 in the world due to its 23 years in the Matsuda Collection (Japanese Porsche Museum)
The Carrera 3.0 drives so well just like new & feels very solid a true collectors car
