This 996 served as my daily driver over the past 3 years without any issues. I'm a Porsche racecar technician and meticulously maintained and tastefully upgraded it, focusing on reliability and enhancing the driving experience. It makes for a great daily driver that also serves as an excellent platform for occasional AutoX or DE work.
Mechanicals:
Everything runs smooth, strong, and reliably.
All required maintenance (and more) has been performed and is up to date.
Front strut towers clunk, but suspension is otherwise in good condition.
All interior electronics work -- no broken buttons or issues.
Cosmetics:
The paint is clean and smooth -- lots of compliments on the Seal Grey.
There are some stone chips on the front hood.
A single ding on the driver side door was popped out, but remains wavy and distorted.
There are some cracks in the front bumper clearcoat.
There is some rear bumperette scuffing and marks.
Interior is essentially flawless.
