The previous owner told me that his wife had a minor parking lot bump to the passenger rear and I think that is when it was completely repainted. This car is not driven during winter months or during rain (when possible to avoid) and always stored in our garage when not in use. We are only selling car because we are buying a Porsche Cayenne and the trade value on collector cars is not favorable at the dealerships. We love this car and so does everyone who sees it and drives it.
Items needing attention:
Dash has slight bulge on the top of the passengers side otherwise interior is excellent condition. Oil reservoir under the passenger rear fender, has a very small leak on one of the hoses. This causes a quarter size drip on the ground after driving.Previous owner installed a Clifford alarm system that does not currently work. Have contacted local alarm company and they said they could remove it when a new unit would be installed. We intended to do this, but just haven’t gotten around to doing it.Air conditioning stopped cooling last summer, but haven’t had it looked at yet since we drive windows down and the moon roof open!The turn signal doesn’t always click off after turning left. Sometimes it works but most of the time it doesn’t click off after the turn.Driver’s side control of the passenger window doesn’t work sometimes. I believe this is a switch issue
Every attempt to disclose all information is being made. Keep in mind that even though this is a Porsche 911 super car, it is also 24 years old and will have a minor blemish here or there and will need some TLC from time to time. Car is being sold as is with no warranty or guarantee. This is car for drivers, not a show car (although it has won a few local car show awards)!
You would be hard pressed to find a nicer 1991 Porsche 911 C2 out there for this price...anywhere. With a little more time and money it can be a 100% good to go. Buyer is responsible for shipping if local pickup is not possible. Car will NOT be handed over until balance of winning bid (beyond the PayPal deposit) is made in full with cash or a cashiers check from major USA bank. We WILL call issuing bank to confirm authenticity of cashiers check. Sorry, but we have not sold a vehicle on eBay before and will not take any chances on getting scammed.
Mileage will likely be a little higher as we are still driving this car when its nice outside!
