The Porsche GT3 needs little introduction, there are enough videos and reviews on line, to keep a person busy for quite some time… To describe the reviews as glowing would be an understatement. With all Porsche GT cars, the supply is sharply limited, and customers wind up placing their orders well in advance of the cars official introduction to make sure they get a car. At Porsche Centre Calgary, we have guys trying to secure the first *next generation* GT3, as well cars that are only rumored to exist such as the Cayman GT4 RS.
Anyhow, this has led to a very heated second hand market for slightly used 991 GT3’s, with many people asking $20k or $30k over list price for one.
This GT3 is a high spec car (CDN MSRP of $189, 645 US equivalent MSRP $165, 000) which includes PCCB Ceramic Brakes, Front Axle Lift, and full Carbon Bucket Seats, naming 3 of the more important options, the complete list is included below. This does not include $3, 625 in Freight and Pre Delivery Expenses, so the final price was $C193, 260.
This car is in new condition. The first owner took it from the dealership to his home, then to Lake Louise and back, and then we drove it from his home back into the showroom. He wound up consolidating he cars and traded it and a Cayenne GTS on a 991 Turbo S.
As a Porsche dealer we are able to put a Certified Pre-Owned warranty on the car which extends the warranty to 6 years and 160, 000km from the in-service date, in this case March 2, 2015, giving full factory warranty until March 2021. This warranty, and a first year service are included in the price and cost us $3, 700.
