I am selling a 1978 Porsche 911 SC Targa. The car is in essentially original condition with no body or suspension mods. I purchased it in California in 1989, have owned it for 26 years, and used it as my commuter car to work in upstate NY during the summer and non rainy days. It is rust free, never driven in snow, and driven inadvertently once or twice a year in rain. It has been well maintained with regular oil changes, the engine runs strong right up to the redline, it does not burn oil, and I had it up to 130 mph briefly last month. I believe I am the second owner. The car can be viewed in Clearwater, Florida, and if any questions message me and I will be glad to help.

| “The car is in substantially original condition, however the emission control system has been removed, along with the air conditioner. Engine and transmission are original and never been rebuilt, and it was repainted in 2001 with most of the rubber body parts replaced at that time. The paint has a scrape on the front bumper where I grazed a fence (grrrr ), the cruise control does not work, and the fog lights are inoperative. I have a relay in parallel with the starter solenoid, and I recommend the starter be replaced whenever the engine is next serviced.” |
